Pastor David Clayton Jr. was born and raised in Violet, Louisiana, where he developed a deep-rooted faith in his community. He received his primary and secondary education through the St. Bernard Parish School System. From an early age, David demonstrated a heart for worship and service, cultivating the gifts that would later define his pastoral journey. With over 27 years of dedicated service in ministry, Pastor Clayton has faithfully embraced a variety of leadership roles, such as Music Minister, Youth Director, Men’s Director, and Marriage Ministry Director. His breadth of experience across these positions has enabled him to understand the unique needs of each demographic within the church, fostering environments where individuals can encounter God’s presence and power. Pastor Clayton’s primary passion is to see Christ’s followers wholly restored—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. He champions ministries and programs that facilitate healing from past wounds, deliverance from spiritual bondage, and empowerment to live fully in God’s purposes. His teaching style is both compassionate and uncompromising, always rooted in Scripture and driven by a genuine love for people. For 29 years, David has been happily married to Co-Pastor Minnie Clayton. Together, they have built a home founded on faith, love, and mutual support. He is the proud father of two sons—David Clayton III and the late Caleb Clayton—whose legacies inspire his ongoing ministry. David also cherishes his daughter-in-love, Crishelle Clayton, and delights in the role of grandfather to his grandson, David Clayton IV. His family life exemplifies the very values he promotes in his pastoral work: commitment, grace, and the sustaining power of God’s love. With a lifetime of ministry accomplishments and a heart firmly set on God’s purposes, Pastor David Clayton Jr. continues to serve as a transformative leader—pointing individuals and communities toward lasting spiritual renewal.
